What happens next
Included at both clinics
MAI Motion scan
Your visit includes a MAI Motion scan as part of the movement assessment. The team explains the scan and discusses its findings in the context of your symptoms.
The findings are considered alongside your history, existing imaging and clinical examination.
02 / Any additional care
Additional imaging and treatment
Your MAI Motion scan is included. If updated imaging, such as an MRI, or other investigations are needed, the team can help arrange them separately. Their cost is discussed before booking.
The consultation is not a package that includes an operation, an injection or a course of rehabilitation. Any further investigation or treatment is a separate decision.
03 / Booking and payment
How to pay
Choose an available appointment before paying. Payment is taken at the time of booking, through the online booking system.
If you are unsure whether this is the appropriate appointment for your situation, book a discovery call with the team before paying. They can help with practical booking questions.

04 / Private medical insurance
Check your cover before booking.
This service is self-pay. If your insurer covers a private orthopaedic second opinion, you may be able to reclaim the cost yourself; ask us for an invoice and check your policy wording.
Ask your insurer about its requirements before booking. Reimbursement should not be assumed.
05 / After your appointment
The next decision remains yours.
You can use the written opinion to continue a conversation with your existing consultant. Booking this appointment does not commit you to subsequent treatment with Professor Lee.
Your current plan may be confirmed, a different approach may be worth discussing, or more information may be needed.
